Cross-Country Skiing in Saalbach
For those seeking athletic alternatives to the joys of downhill skiing, Saalbach Hinterglemm offers an enticing network of cross-country ski trails. One particularly picturesque route is the Valley End Circular Trail, which leads away from the hustle and bustle along the Saalach River to Lindlingalm. The use of all trails is free of charge. However, during heavy snowfall, it may happen that the trails are only groomed in the afternoon, as snow clearing on roads and sidewalks takes precedence.

The starting point of the trail is directly across from the B4 Zwölfer-Nordbahn and provides ample parking facilities. The entry point is next to the Talschluss promenade, and the route gently undulates up and down towards Lengau.
From Lengauerhof, the trail runs approximately 500 meters flat through idyllic meadows, followed by the last 2 kilometers in a continuous ascent to Lindlingalm.
